本来下班回来夜已深，但今天所受之气，不吐不快！我还想极尽我骂人之所能，在此臭骂那死人潮州老板一顿！

 

之前说好了让我到琶洲做，９：００ａｍ－６：００ｐｍ，还叫我别放他飞机，谁知他前天发短信来说办证办错了，我要去东方宾馆做，要做到１１点多。还说不做也可。晕！不准别人不守信用，却允许自己不守信～～

其样貌极其影响市容已无可质疑――面无半两肉、两颧骨高耸、脸上一刀疤～～吸收不好、营养不良，再加上频频抽烟，导致身体高瘦，整一“白粉仔”模样……

初见其相，未知其人品，还安慰自己说：人不可貌相～人家长得丑没有罪，能干就行。这不？！初中没读完，白手起家，都创建了一间工厂，而且生意还不错。

谁知“相由心生”一词得已流传确实有其道理～～

以自己之心度别人之脑。自己想到一样什么，随便说一两句就以为表达清楚。等到别人听不懂就骂别人笨。与我同为翻译的四女孩无一未被他骂过/“耍过”……还说我猪，说他自己做老板压力很大，我们做打工仔的就很好……

我到摊位做翻译多次，未见有人野蛮如此。我说他更猪――连初中都没能读完。虽说之前的老板都算暴发户，却没有像他那样骂人的。外省人都说“广东的暴发户多，没文化、没修养。”我说广东人的名声都败在他这种人手里了～～

真是呜呼哀哉！！！

１９号中午回到广州，坐了１５个小时飞机，没怎么睡，因此２０号休息了一整天。２１、２２号又去上那个烂鬼教师资格证的培训课～２３号为南非老板找厂家～日记，就只有拖到现在才匆匆写上几句，以飨读者――事关明天又开始去东方宾馆做翻译！！！那里叫“拿人命”啊！从９点ａｍ做到１１点ｐｍ。才２５０一天～～～简直是廉价劳工！如果不是因为好奇（之前没做过那个展会）我才不去给他剥削呢……

 

好。言归正转。

这次的南非行，有一些事、一些情不得不说：

首先是南非印象。很多人一听到南非，都以为那里很穷、很多黑人。其实那里给我的整体感觉比广州还好！起码那里山青水秀、蓝天白云、空气清新、景色怡人……市政设施相对完善，并不像广州那么乌烟瘴气！那里的环保意识很强，商店装货品的多数是纸袋，塑料袋要掏钱买的。那里的公厕很干净，女厕都备有厕纸（toilet paper），根本不会收费～所以，认为广州比南非先进的可怜的广州人啊……得罪点说句：汝乃井底之蛙也！！

当地人的生活相对轻松，没有这里那么大压力（大概因为那里人少，竞争没这么激烈吧）。因此，他们都很会享受生活――逢周末一定不再工作，而是到郊区picnic，或到海滩享受阳光与海浪，或去party　……因为生活相对轻松，所以人们脸上的笑容也多。或许还因为obviously,我是个外国人吧，反正对我点头微笑的人很多。他们陌生人之间互相打招呼的也不少。最起码进入一个商铺，你不会被一张“死人脸”吓得不想消费～

 

那里的整体治安应该算不错的。当然，我住的是白人聚居区，而且又是个小城镇，并不像约翰内斯堡那样的经济城市，因此会更和平些。不过这个旅途中也发生了不愉快的事――我准备到老板的一个女儿家过夜的行李被偷了！！　：（　我们傍晚去爬山，把车停在僻静的盘山公路旁，她的车锁失灵了，却察觉不到。后来整辆车被“翻查”过，就只拿了我的那袋行李～～我真是“走运”。幸亏里面只有一条牛仔裤、一套我刚从上海买的衣服（我很喜欢的～）、还有太阳油、香水之类的小物品，并没有很贵重的东西。真是不幸中之大幸！不过最恼火的是我的记事本也在里面，结果导致我到南非的行程全没了～～～真想打人！

在回来前的周末（13、14、15号）我跟随老板的两个女儿去露营了！人生第一次啊～那是一个music festival，在离开普敦很远的一个湖边举行。很多人自行带着帐篷开车到那里参加。白天可以在湖里游泳、嬉戏，晚上可以在临时搭建的音乐台前跳舞。这是个认识帅哥美女的好时机哦～～哈哈，我当然也认识了几个啦。不过在那里的游玩，为我的腿留下了２个印记――因为贪玩，I went swinging――结果力气不够，腿擦在地面～～皮外伤――伤得不轻哦。可是它、或者说和我们一起玩的一壮男却教会了我如何面对自然界的生存危机……

另，因为刻照片的CD打不开！！所以暂时没有照片！只能等那边把存留的照片ｅｍａｉｌ过来才有得看。

It's the 5th day I've been in Somerset West, South Africa.

I love here very much!

 

I’m living in a huge house with many bedrooms and sitting rooms, a swimming pool and a big garden. From the second floor’s French window, I can have a splendid view of the mountain and the sea. The family here which receives me is so friendly that made me feel at home immediately after arrival. The four ladies in the office (African Ostrix, my part-time job boss’ company) are also quite nice.

 

There’re six children here in the family—Isabeau, Niel, Margrette, Susanne, Jeanne, Fransuannce. Niel, the only handsome guy in this family, is studying in Swiss right now. What a shame!! Others are all girls. Jeanne, one of the twins, is the most friendly one I feel so far.

 

I went to Meisuberg, the farm where Sean and her boyfriend Justin live, on Sep. 30; and to Stellenbosch, a small town near Somerset West. On the way to these places, I’ve seen fantastic view, which I’ve never seen before in my life. There’re small savanna near the highway, and big birds flying above me.

 

On Sunday, Oct. 1^st, I went to a beach called Kommetjie with Sean and Justin. There, I met Justin’s sister & brother-in-law, and their excellent ‘product’—a cute boy Manoa.

The most exciting EVENT I experienced that day was that I saw whales and a small penguin at the beach!! People went kite-surfing. That was the first time in my life! It’s a pity that I was not quick enough to take a photo before they disappeared.  But that’s good enough to see, you know.

On that day, I told myself, ‘if I couldn’t make my trip here, I will feel regretful for my whole life.’

 

Today, I followed Noleen, the highest ranking lady in the office, to 2 waterfronts and Cape Town. The natural beauty there was  breath-taking!! It really is the gift from the nature—big mountain range, beautiful ocean, blue sky, nice animals here together with skyscrapers. How amazing!!

 

So far, I found everything here was quite different from we had in China. Larger space but fewer people here, so most of them have cars and drive a lot.  People here, especially the middle class white people here, enjoy their relaxed life very much. They work not for a long time every day: 7-8hrs/weekday, and a two-day weekend. Seems like we have in Guangzhou, but doing more activities/sports.
